Respect for someone so talented. Out of words for this.
It was very sudden. Blood clot, heart attack; she died in my arms, just like that. That would have been the way she wanted to go, but maybe twenty or thirty years later …
Yes, at 90. Or 70 at least. Too much retirement time together was robbed from you. I am sorry.
Thanks. At least I don’t have to work. And a lot of the things that other people think are important now have no value or meaning to me. (Same thing happened to my neighbor two doors down and he feels the same way.) Like getting new windows for the house, or a new kitchen floor. Or not filling up the garden with so much sand and gravel. Or, most importantly, “the future”.
