Thanks. Our power didn’t go out, though as you know we have another day of this stuff tomorrow.
It rained a tiny bit here last night, when it was the windiest.
Hoping for the best-we need moisture in the worst way but I think Xcel was over-reacting recalling the Marshall fire from 4 years ago. It’s been windy since I moved 2 weeks ago after the 4-6 inches of white stuff at the beginning of the month. Stay safe and batten down the hatches.
The guy I live with says the forecast for tomorrow is not pleasant at all. He says that’s an understatment.
It’s highly likely that aerial power lines will be shut off again.
Our neighborhood has buried utilities but we’re too close for comfort to the foothills (about four miles east). Or at least he says so.
Yup, power outage again at 5:45 AM this morning. Received a text from Xcel saying they hope to have power restored by 10 PM. Tomorrow night!!
Our neighborhood is brand new and ther utilities are likewise buried. The real kicker is there is barely any wind at all.
There’s no wind here yet.
The guy I live with says even though utilities are buried they could be fed by aerial utilities.
