Orange day in the garden here.

I think you can’t have too many glauciums. They seed around, so it sounds like you could have too many, in theory, but when they bloom, you realize you can’t. Practically everyone knows the horned poppy, Glaucium flavum, and this one, G. acutidentatum, has become common too. There are bright red ones as well, like G. arabicum and grandiflorum. I need those badly.

Papaver apokrinomenon. Worth growing for the name alone. It seeds prolifically.

Sphaeralcea munroana. I guess it’s munroana. You distinguish the species mostly by the leaves. Or by the label that came with the plant.
