The day after the night before! Don’t disturb me please.

Indeed. I’m not sure why it was so important for those pictures to be taken. The bed upstairs is really comfortable, as I’ve discovered, and there’s a candle burning on the dresser, in the corner, to make it extra-cozy for me.

  2. Oh, the cuteness of it all! (and the moment after, there occurred an especially excellent episode of velocirapting.) May all our gardens flourish —

Thanks. No, no velocirapting, just napping upstairs. I can see out in front, if I need to, and also downstairs, like if something interesting happened, which probably won’t.

And a happy New Year to you as well. I hope your neighbors were not the fire works sort. I must say that even after the holidays and excitement you look lovely! Not a hair out of place–but that’s a Border Collie for you! All the best in 2016.

Same to you. Yes, there were fireworks. I was ensconced in my Upstairs Fort, which is pretty close to the bed, and faces it, so I felt okay, even though it was slightly scary. The humidifier was making happy gurgling and whispering noises so that made me feel better, too.

Happy New Year to you! I hope you remembered to blow out the candle before those eyes closed again and the humidifier kept that elegant nose from getting all crusty. Here’s to a great 2016 and the gardens of our dreams!

Thanks; same to you. The candle is in a glass jar and gets a little dish put over it, to put it out. I now hear that 2016 is a Leap Year, so I guess I’ll have to get ready for that.

Happy New Year! Thank you so much for your Eyore-ish sense of humor.
