Greetings and salutations, everyone; yes, once again it is I, your popular host, Mani the purebred border collie, here today to show you what’s happened. You may remember me from such posts as “Mistletoe And Snow”, among so many, many others.
Here I am in a characteristic pose.
I’m pretty sure you can tell that it snowed here last night.
And actually, in this picture, most of the snow has melted. It snowed a little bit this afternoon. It’s much better to have the snow melt into the ground rather than having it evaporate in the dry winds that have been afflicting us so much lately.
This is what it looked like this morning, from the upstairs bedroom window.
The snow is very welcome indeed, and it isn’t as cold as it looks.

And the weather forecast calls for rain for most of next week. The guy I live with can hardly wait. Hopefully the forecast won’t change, like it has so many times in the past.
Whatever happens, this is a good napping weather, for sure.

About 7.6 mm, and the guy I live with says it’s forecast to rain for the rest of this week. I guess we’ll see.
Snow, rain and frost in southern Wisconsin. I’m definitely ready for a nap. But I won’t complain about the moisture either.
Rain sounds very nice. We haven’t had a lot in the last two years, but maybe now with El Nino predicted, maybe we’ll get our usual amount. Which isn’t a lot, but more than what we’ve had.

The snow is almost all gone here now, but it soaked into the ground rather than being blown away by the wind.

It was one of the most delightful surprises we’ve experienced for quite some time. While the forecast was for snow, we didn’t believe we’d have such good fortune. We’re hoping the upcoming week’s forecast is correct. 🤞🏼
