I noticed these mourning doves sitting on the little fence out in front. They must be a family. The baby is sitting on the lower rail, right in front of the agave.
I had to open the front door very quietly (not easy with the dog right behind me) and take a picture before they flew off. Doves don’t pose for their pictures here, and just as I took the shot, the neighbor dog chased a rabbit down the front walk.
