Just to prove (mostly to myself) that it can rain here.
Local weather people like to call this “the monsoon”, though it could go by any other conceivable name, since Colorado does not have a monsoon. True, it’s rain caused by northward flow of subtropical moisture, but it’s not a regular, dependable feature in Colorado, and there is no monsoonal flora here, as can be found further to the south.
Whatever. Unlike the gardener, the rain takes care of all the newly-planted plants.
