Greetings and salutations, everyone; yes, once again it is I, Mani the somewhat small, yet not completely miniature purebred border collie, here to tell you that today I turned one.
That’s right, it’s my birthday.
Here I am in a characteristic birthday pose.
I’m having a pretty good day; feeling extremely mature and sophisticated, because, as the guy I live with said, being one is a lot better than being zero. I get to do fun stuff like barking at ice melting in the bird bath, and things like that. So happy birthday to me.

It’s a great time for a birthday. Mani and the daughter’s giant share today. Mine share’s the 23rd. Let there be carrot and peanut butter cakes galore. And lots of winter germinating seed. First spouse was the 24th. We partied for days. Capricorn – Sagittarius Cusp is a karmic blessing.

Happy Birthday! It’s been a great year and suspect next year will be as full of adventure and excitement as the last. You may disagree but one year seems to have passed awfully fast… but you’ll see that on 2.

Thanks. The guy I live with has been trying to put these things on me, which he says are “Christmas antlers”, and it’s not going to happen. If I had needed antlers, I would have been born with them, that’s what I say.
